DEARBORN, Mich., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS) announced today that its healthcare provider unit -- ACS Healthcare Solutions -- has earned four no. 1 rankings in the 2007 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards, issued by KLAS Enterprises, LLC.

The company was ranked no. 1 in the Financial Implementation Principal, Financial Implementation Supportive, Staff Augmentation, and Other Implementation Principal categories.

"ACS is honored by these prestigious rankings and thankful to our clients who have recognized our dedication to exceptional service," said Charles O. Bracken, managing director, ACS Healthcare Solutions. "This distinction validates our commitment to providing the responsive, reliable, and flexible service and solutions our clients need to solve their unique business problems, and it is rewarding to see the entire ACS team be nationally recognized for our collective hard work and dedication."

KLAS is an independent firm that helps healthcare providers make informed technology decisions by monitoring and measuring the delivery of information technology (IT) to healthcare organizations. Its annual report is a summary of performance data collected over the past 13 months from healthcare professionals and IT executives. It includes a ranking of the top vendors in several key areas of performance.

A "Best in KLAS" ranking means that healthcare providers rate ACS the highest when it comes to implementation and service for financial projects. ACS was also recognized as one of the firms in the Financial Implementation Principal category that have shown the most significant improvement since the 2006 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards. Additionally, the company was ranked highly throughout the KLAS report, including in the healthcare information technology area, where ACS was among the top in seven categories -- more than any other firm.

ACS, a global FORTUNE 500 company with 62,000 people supporting client operations reaching more than 100 countries, provides business process outsourcing and information technology solutions to world-class commercial and government clients. The company's Class A common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "ACS." Learn more about ACS at
