ACHC and Pennsylvania Homecare Association Form Partnership
Date:5/6/2017

Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is excited to announce its new partnership with the Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA). This agreement allows PHA members to receive special pricing on ACHC’s Home Health, Hospice, and Private Duty Accreditation services, as well as discounts on Accreditation University (AU) educational resources that help prepare association members for ACHC Accreditation.

“ACHC is looking forward to working closely with PHA through this partnership to give agencies in Pennsylvania access to discounts on accreditation and educational resources by joining their state association,” said Matt Hughes, ACHC Director, Business Management & Customer Service.

The Pennsylvania Homecare Association is a statewide organization of nearly 700 homecare, home health and hospice providers. PHA members provide quality care and serve as advocates for their patients and clients on a variety of healthcare-related issues. PHA and its members work hard to improve professional standards and ensure access to quality homecare throughout the state. To learn more, visit http://www.pahomecare.org.

“PHA is proud to partner with ACHC to offer our members discounts on accreditation fees and materials. We know that our members strive for excellence to bring the most competent and compassionate care into the homes of the people they serve, and their focus on accreditation reflects our agencies' dedication and commitment to elevating the industry and raising the bar,” said Jennifer Haggerty, PHA COO.

ACHC is a non-profit accreditation organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence for 30 years. ACHC offers nationally recognized accreditation services for home health, hospice, and private duty agencies. The organization has Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Deeming Authority for Home Health, Hospice, and Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS), and a Quality Management System that is certified to ISO 9001:2008. ACHC’s consultative approach to accreditation is designed to improve the quality of patient care while enhancing business efficiencies through service-specific standards and industry-based best practices. Throughout the entire accreditation process, ACHC is dedicated to delivering the best possible experience.
