A Survey Shows The Link Between Dietary Supplements and A Healthy Middle Age Individual
Date:3/27/2013

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) March 27, 2013

A study has been discovered on the NCBI site titled “Dietary supplements and weight control in a middle-age population” that directly links the long term use of nutritional supplements with weight change over the past 10 years in middle aged people. Back in 2005, a survey took place that questioned people whose age ranged from 53 to 57 years old who had been taking these supplements and asked how they fared weight wise.

Out of over 15,000 participants in the study, they were asked about supplement use, diet, health habit, height, and present as well as past weights. Also, supplements that were marketed for weight control were examined. Some of these included vitamins B6 and B12, chromium, multivitamins, and more.

The results from the study seem to look good. Long term use of multivitamins, vitamins B6 and B12, and chromium showed that people who took these supplements had a lower level of weight gain. It would appear that when the appropriate supplements are used with good diet and exercise, more people experienced less weight gain than those who didn’t use them.
With a similar diet supplement, called Liproxenol, there were some important ingredients that are included within this diet supplement that was spoken of in the study. An important such ingredient, is vitamin B6. This particular ingredient seems to have properties that can help with weight control and even weight loss.

It seems there is more to weight control and weight loss supplements than meets the eye.
