A Premiere Career Training Certificate School, CSI, Now Accepting Back to Community Scholarship Applications for Qualifying Students
Date:9/3/2013

(PRWEB) September 03, 2013

Computer Systems Institute (CSI) with campus locations in Chicago, Elgin, and Gurnee Illinois, recently announced an open call for qualifying students to apply for their Back to Community Scholarship program to help defray the cost of their education at CSI. In an effort to help individuals go to college and learn life-supporting skills that lead to future leaders, CSI believes strongly that every person deserves the opportunity to go to college. To that end, CSI has backed their philosophy up with financial support, offering 5 scholarship programs of which the Back to Community Scholarship applications is one.

Wishing to minimize any barriers to career training education, CSI understands a student’s frequently overwhelming concern: “How will I pay for my education?” Scholarship support helps defray the cost of that education. In the $1,000 value Back to Community Scholarship, CSI seeks to reward qualifying students who contribute to their communities in meaningful ways, the very communities CSI also serves. Individuals that have a high school diploma or GED, have performed voluntary community service and enroll in a career-training program at CSI are eligible to apply. A completed application and a minimum 200-word essay describing his or her community service will be required for scholarship consideration, to be submitted no later than the 5th day of a class term.

Additional scholarship programs the school also offers include the Academic Achievement Scholarships, valued at $500, Patriot Scholarships valued at $2,000 for veterans and $1,000 for immediate families members, and the CSI Alumni Scholarships valued at $500. In addition CSI also offers 2 SMART Scholarships that pays any CSI program tuition in full for qualifying students.
