Date:2/15/2010

NEW YORK, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- 5W Public Relations, one of the 25 largest PR firms in the U.S., today announced the addition of Halo/Air Salt Rooms, the 1st "Salt Room" wellness facility in New York.

Halo/Air Salt Rooms is located at 133 W. 22nd Street (between 6th Ave. and 7th Ave.) and all the rooms are made completely out of salt from the salt caves of Europe. Further expanding the PR agency's successful Health & Wellness division, 5W Public Relations will be responsible for the publicity and branding of Halo/Air Salt Rooms.

"Halo/Air Salt Rooms is a truly unique health and wellness facility that makes a great addition to our growing beauty & wellness PR practice. We are thrilled to have Halo/Air Salt Rooms aboard, and work with the team to launch the Chelsea spa," said Ronn Torossian, CEO of 5W Public Relations. "We are thrilled to be chosen as Public Relations agency of record to launch this wellness facility in the US."

Twenty million years ago, an ocean covered what is now known as Eastern Europe. Once the sea dried up, salt was left 10 - 300 meters below ground. These became known as "salt caves" and the air in these environments were particularly clean since they were never exposed to the pollution above ground. The salt caves have a low humidity and salt particles are in the air at all times. This micro-climate is replicated in Owner/Founder Ron Rofe's Halo/Air Salt Rooms.

About Halo/Air Salt Rooms

Halo/Air Salt Rooms, located in Chelsea, is the first Salt Room facility in the United States. The Salt Rooms are made completely out of salt from the salt caves of Europe, and the patented HaloGenerator replicates the microclimate of salt caves. Salt Rooms are already popular in other parts of the world but this is the first facility of its kind in the United States. The Halo/Air Salt Room treatment uses unique proprietary equipment and room design which creates a dry salt aerosol microclimate. The patented HaloGenerator creates humidity, filters the air, and grinds and atomizes the salt into air particles for the rooms. All of the salt used at Salt Rooms is mined from European salt caves 300 meters below ground. The Halo/Air facility is equipped with two single rooms and two double rooms, with cable TV, radio, and dimming lights. The children's room is equipped with a plasma TV, toys, games, and comfortable couches/chairs.
