54-Year-Old Psychology Teacher Loses 155 Pounds In 10 Months By Applying His Own Teachings To Himself
Date:3/12/2009

ERIE, Pa., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Jordan Lapides, a 54-year-old teacher of Spirituality Psychology and founder of The Freedom Foundation For Weight Loss And Spiritual Development in Pennsylvania, was recently challenged by one of his students to apply his own Spiritual Teachings to his weight problem. While weight loss is important, what sets Lapides apart is that while most Spiritual teachers present wonderful Spiritual principals, Mr. Lapides takes it further by actually teaching his students exactly how to apply these principals to their daily lives in a very practical way.

Lapides states, "Reading books is good. However, having a map of the city is not the same as actually being in the city."

He is known for giving his students "homework assignments." One recent assignments was, "See if you can stop talking about yourself ... even if it's for just a day."

Lapides states, "A person seeking Higher Truth can find it by looking in t
