MORRISVILLE, Pa., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and MediCom Worldwide, Inc. are jointly sponsoring the 3rd Annual Conference on Pain July 18th and 19th. The meeting will be held in Thorne Hall on the campus of Northwestern University in Chicago.
This year, the conference focus is "Examining Critical Issues in Opioid Management." The scientific agenda will focus on the latest information, issues, and evidence in effectively managing chronic pain. The conference is designed for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals. Conference organizers concentrated on day-to-day clinical challenges in constructing this highly interactive educational activity.
The conference chair is Dr. Steven Stanos, Medical Director of the
Chronic Pain Care Center of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
Co-chairs are Judith Paice, Ph.D., RN, president of the American Pain
Society and research professor of medicine at the Feinberg School of
Medicine at Northwestern University, and James Zacny, Ph.D., professor of
anesthesia and critical care at the University of Chicago.
