Becker's Hospital Review has published its list of "24 of the leading women in healthcare," which includes some of the most influential female leaders of hospitals, health systems and other healthcare organizations.

The number of women in leadership positions is expected to rise because of high education among women, the continued entry of women into the business workforce and changing social norms. These women leaders are already influential in healthcare.
