CHICAGO, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2009 Most Wired Survey and Benchmarking Study, one of the leading IT benchmarking tools in health care, is online beginning today. Open to all hospitals and health systems, the survey measures hospital IT activities in five key areas: business processes, customer service, safety and quality, workforce and public health and safety. Participating hospitals may be named to the 2009 Hospitals & Health Networks list of the 100 Most Wired which will be released in July 2009.
Since 1998, Hospitals & Health Networks, the journal of the American Hospital Association, has named the nation's 100 Most Wired hospitals and health systems. Hospitals can also be named Most Improved, Most Wireless and Most Wired -- Small and Rural.
The 11th annual survey is available at http://www.hhnmostwiredsurvey.com, along with further information on the survey. The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2009. Every organization that submits a survey receives a benchmarking analysis of their data.
