20 Nursing Students Awarded 2013 APNA Board of Directors Student Scholarships by the American Psychiatric Nurses Association

as of practice while experiencing interactive panels, discussions, and presentations led by prestigious leaders in the field. Similarly, APNA membership will provide them with an introduction to communication and mentoring opportunities with experts in the field through APNA’s online networking community and through participation in APNA’s councils and committees. As members, the Scholars will also have access to a wealth of resources in psychiatric mental health nursing professional development and continuing education.

Undergraduate recipients of the 2013 APNA Board of Directors Student Scholarship are: Kayla Albright, Georgia College and State University; Thibaut de Roos, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities; Joseph Griffey, Northern Illinois University; Heather Jackson, University of Rochester; Meredith Jaggers, Purdue University; Amanda Jilovec, Mount Mercy University; Leah Okoth, University of Tennessee Health Science Center; Katie Stansfield, Brigham Young University; Zachary Switzer, University of North Carolina – Wilmington; Alysha Woods, Point Loma Nazarene University
