The healthcare industry’s switch to the electronic health record (EHR) systems has received mixed opinions from medical professionals over the past few years. Clinicians have raised concerns about the amount of time needed to document patient information into EHRs, claiming that it reduces the time they could be spending with patients. Dragon Medical Practice Edition 2, a medical voice recognition software, is designed for small medical practices of 24 physicians or fewer. It can increase a practice’s overall productivity and efficiency because physicians can dictate directly into any EHR system.
