The Breast Cancer Society Launches Vehicle Donation Program
Date:1/27/2010

Mesa, Arizona breast cancer charity partners with the Vehicle Donation Processing Center to provide financial assistance to breast cancer patients.

Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) January 27, 2010 -- The Breast Cancer Society Inc. (TBCS) has partnered with the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc. to launch a vehicle and boat donation program. The Processing Center allows TBCS to benefit from vehicle donations in order to assist people fighting breast cancer. According to both entities, these donations are trouble-free, handled professionally, and are always well documented for tax purposes.

The guiding mission of providing Breast Cancer info is "to provide relief to those who suffer from the effects of breast cancer. We also work with and give support to other organizations that share in the goal of helping cancer patients."

The charity has already bolstered vital programs through funding obtained by the vehicle and boat donation program. People who are interested can donate a car, truck, trailer, recreational vehicle, boat, and even real estate. Donors can benefit by getting a free vehicle pick-up whether the car is running or not (with some restrictions), qualifying for a lawful IRS tax deduction, avoiding confusing DMV paperwork, and avoiding the hassle of selling a used car.

When a donation is pledged, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center takes the donor information over the telephone, handles all the documents, vehicle pick-up, sale at auction and distribution of proceeds to the Breast Cancer Society. The Processing Center guarantees payment of all expenses in administering the program for Breast Cancer statistics. Each month, net proceeds are split evenly between the two entities.

TBCS is one of the United States' only national breast cancer charities with a primary focus on providing direct help and financial aid to those battling breast cancer. On the other hand, there are many groups whose primary mission is research and education - the types of groups that do everything from publicizing breast cancer statistics that promote awareness to spending the long laboratory hours in search of a miracle breast cancer medication. TBCS recognizes that both efforts are vital, but there are many thousands of victims each year who need more than hope for a cure - they need assistance right away to meet the challenges brought on by the disease. This is why TBCS believes that its supporters are so important. The organization relies on public support mainly through direct mail marketing, tele-fundraising, vehicle donations, corporate grants, volunteers, etc.

Many women who are currently fighting breast cancer are single working mothers. These are women who are often forced to quit work while undergoing the rigors of treatment and who have difficulty affording everything from basic needs and expenses to breast cancer medication such as chemotherapy. The Breast Cancer Society's main focus is to provide breast cancer info and assist women financially with monthly assistance grants to help pay for food, housing, child care, and so on.

Breast Cancer Society Inc. is a 501-C3 nonprofit charitable corporation which began operations in January of 2008.
