OneMedPlace announces "OneMedForum 2009" finance conference for emerging medtech companies : Second annual event to be held January 13-14, 2009, in San Francisco

OneMedPlace announced today that its “OneMedForum 2009” finance conference for emerging medtech companies will be held January 13-14, 2009, in San Francisco at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. The goal of the second annual OneMedForum event is to be a vital resource for emerging medtech companies and medtech investors. Toward that end, the two-day OneMedForum event will include industry-focused panel sessions, numerous networking opportunities, and 50 company presentations.

NEW YORK (Business Wire EON) November 19, 2008 -- "This event fills an important need to connect promising companies with the investment community," said Casey McGlynn, Co-Chairman of the OneMedForum Advisory Committee and Chair of the Life Sciences practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosatti, a law firm that is deeply involved in medical technology venture finance. "We are pleased with the response from top venture funds who will be participating in our panels. Firms such as Kleiner Perkins, Delphi Ventures, Latterell Ventures and others will join some of the business development execs from the largest device manufacturers to discuss future opportunities in major areas of medical technology."
