New York, NY (PRWEB) May 27, 2010 -- Descubre Tu Estilo: Tu Guía Para Vestir Mejor (Discover Your Style: Your Guide to Dressing Better) written by Martín Llorens, renowned fashion and beauty expert of Univision’s “Despierta América” was awarded a Triple Crown Award as the Best Health Book in the Spanish or Bilingual category at the 12th Annual International Latino Book Awards. The Triple Crown Award recognition is reserved for titles that received 100% of the judges 1st place ballots. The 2010 ceremony took place on Tuesday, May 25 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City as part of the Book Expo America (BEA) Conference. The International Latino Book Awards honors literary excellence in a variety of categories; Best Health Book recognizes excellence in the wellness, beauty and nutrition topics.

Published by Random House Mondadori and launched in September 2009, the book was also recognized with 2nd Place awards in the categories of Best First Book and Best Interior Design. In addition, Descubre Tu Estilo received an honorable mention in the Best Women’s Issues Book category.

“I am honored to be recognized by this prestigious organization for my debut as an author,” said Martín Llorens. “I wrote this book to help Latina women master the art of dressing to make fashion a tool they can use to achieve their dreams in their personal and professional lives.
