Date:3/9/2010

New informative Australian website, GetPregnant.com.au serves as a free guide on increasing fertility in women and men, as well as infertility diagnosis, treatment and options.

(PRWEB) March 9, 2010 -- A new Australian website (getpregnant.com.au) hopes to help couples conceive naturally, faster. Many couples are surprised when their attempts at conceiving aren't successful within the first few months.

The reality is that it is common for a young, healthy couple to take 6+ months to fall pregnant. For some it may take up to a year. But factors such as the couples individual health, age, and medical issues also have an impact.

Armed with a little bit of knowledge, the average couple can greatly improve their likelihood of conception, as well as a healthier pregnancy.

The site is split into 5 main categories; Getting Pregnant, Increasing Fertility, Fertility Issues, Male Fertility, and Infertility. The site also features a blog with regularly updated news and reviews.

The Getting Pregnant section is an overview starting with the basic of conception and covering topics such as preparing for pregnancy, conceiving, menstrual cycles and ovulation, observing and charting, sex for conception, pregnancy test and pregnancy symptoms.

The Increasing Fertility section instructs couple on what to avoid and what to do to increase their chances of conceiving naturally, faster. It covers topics including general health, diet, exercise, vitamins and supplements, alternative medicines, environmental toxins and fertility drugs.

The Fertility Issues section covers common problems including conceiving after 35, previous miscarriage/s, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's) Ovarian Cysts and PCOD, Fibroid Tumors, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Scar Tissue and Birth Control.

The Male Fertility section is focused on issues that affect men including health, lifestyle and nutrition, sperm health and sperm count.

The Infertility and Options section covers fertility testing and assessment, as well as options that infertile couples can pursue including Donor eggs or sperm, in vitro fertilisation, artificial insemination and surrogacy.

There will also be free tools available for couples including an observing and charting kit and an email newsletter with helpful ongoing advice and support. GetPregnant.com.au looks forward to publishing its first success stories soon!
