Linking narrative and structured data in medical records through common medical vocabularies

Pittsburgh, PA (Vocus) March 1, 2010 -- M*Modal, pioneer of advanced Speech Recognition and Understanding technology and provider of on-demand Conversational Documentation Services (“CDS”), and Intelligent Medical Objects (“IMO®”), the market leader in clinical interface terminology, have partnered to improve physicians ability to create, review, reconcile, and update clinical diagnoses, problem lists, and medical histories in electronic health records (“EHR”) using a physician friendly workflow powered by narrative dictation.
