$5.15 Million Provided to Support Local Health Care Needs

receiving funds are programs that support specific health-related needs, such as the Breast Cancer Resource Center, Any Baby Can, and Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area. Seven nonprofit organizations in this category will receive a total of $451,650.

Grants for safety net clinics reach a total of $3.7 million

Ranging from People's Community Clinic to Lone Star Circle of Care in Williamson County, primary care and specialty clinics will receive a total of $3,720,607. These safety net clinics provide access to quality health care for uninsured and underinsured Central Texans.

$50,000 awarded for dental clinic funding

To provide increased oral health care for seniors in Central Texas, Manos de Cristo will receive $25,000. AIDS Services of Austin will also receive $25,000 toward the Jack Sansing Dental Clinic, which provides primary dental and oral medical care to persons with HIV/AIDS.
