$18.5 Million New Jersey Medical Malpractice Birth Injury Verdict Due To Cerebral Palsy Caused By A Delayed C-Section

On April 29, 2010 an Essex County, New Jersey jury awarded a verdict of $18.5 million in a medical malpractice case against an obstetrician who delayed a C-section while the baby was in fetal distress. Kim v. Mcsherry, et al, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Essex County, Docket No.: ESX-L-1906-08.

(PRWEB) May 11, 2010 -- On April 29, 2010 an Essex County, New Jersey jury awarded a verdict of $18.5 million in a medical malpractice case against an obstetrician who delayed a C-section while the baby was in fetal distress. Kim v. Mcsherry, et al, DOCKET NO.: ESX-L-1906-08.

This led to a delayed birth which resulted in the baby being born with cerebral palsy.
