Tommy Thompson joins drug company as advisor

Tommy Tompson, formerly a Wisconsin governor and then secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has accepted an advisory position with Alfacell Corporation.

Alfacell develops cancer theraputics and is moving closer to filing a new drug application with the federal Food and Drug Administration for its lead drug candidate. The company's headquarters are in Bloomfield, N......
