SEESNP DISCOVERY

Agencourt offers a SNP discovery service for rapid and highly accurate identification of SNP loci. Our SeeSNP service is based on a targeted resequencing strategy and is fueled by our capacity to sequence over 20 million Phred20 bases a day. Features that set our service facility apart include:

  • SPRItechnology for increased sequencing performance and more accurate SNP loci identification
  • Proprietary assay design software for fully automated amplicon modeling
  • Extensive assay validation and optimization procedures to decrease project cost and turnaround time
  • Powerful SNP alignment tools for rapid and automated polymorphism calling

    SEESNP DISCOVERY SERVICE
    Our SNP discovery service includes:
  • Fully-automated assay design
  • Assay validation and optimization
  • PCR amplification and purification
  • Sequence delineation
  • Sequence alignment and data analysis
  • Data delivery via secure FTP site

    ASSAY DESIGN AND VALIDATION
A notable strength of Agencourt is our extensive assay design and validation process. A suite of proprietary software tools is used to design amplification primers and develop an amplicon model spanning both coding and regulatory regions. Individual amplicon reactions are rigorously tested to validate assay robustness and specificity. Assays are optimized or redesigned if necessary.

Our bioinformatics tools have proven to streamline amplicon modeling, reduce assay variability and improve amplicon success rates to greater than 90%.
