S.E.T.S. Swab Extraction Tube System

Benefits

Flexibility

Virtually any sample material collected by swab is fully compatible with subsequent nucleic acid extraction procedures (e.g., boiling prep or extraction on the MagNA Pure LC Instrument).

Speed

From swab to collected material, ready for nucleic acid purification in less than five minutes.

Safety

Swab with potentially infectious material is handled in a closed tube.

The Collection tube with the collected material is now closed with the screw cap (3), and is ready for storage or further nucleic acid extraction. The S.E.T.S. will support direct boiling preparation of the collected material in the closed outer tube and is compatible with the MagNA Pure LC Instrument.
