Readers respond to Katrina Phone Project

A few weeks ago I put out the call to DEMOletter readers to raise enough money and products to send caseloads of mobile phones to the victims and volunteers of Hurricane Katrina. I'm delighted to report that the first three cases of phones are on their way to Houston, and by early this week should be in the hands of those who need them most.

Then, CEO and founder Don Harris decided that the phones would be put to better use in Houston, with the victims and volunteers of Huricane Katrina.
