Profits up at Badger Meter

Milwaukee Badger Meter Inc. (AMEX:BMI) reported $3.5 million in profits on $54.4 million in sales for the quarter ended March 31, a profit jump of 42 percent over last year's first quarter.

Badger Meter makes metering products for water systems, including a wireless display that can be mounted anywhere and shows water usage.
