Protector
RNase Inhibitor
- is a new type of RNase inhibitor and inhibits the widest known spectrum
of RNases (RNaseA, RNaseB, RNaseT1, RNaseT2,
RNase1).
- does not interfere with the performance of enzymes in an assay - even
when high amounts (e.g. up to 16-fold the standard concentration) of
Protector RNase Inhibitor are needed to protect difficult RNA samples.
- is fully active over a wide pH range of 5,0 - 9,0.sdfsdfsd.
- is fully active over a wide temperature range of 25C - 55C. Even
at 60C, some RNase Inhibition is still measured. This is advantageous
when performing reverse transcription reactions at elevated temperatures
to overcome secondary structure in RNA (e.g. in combination with AMV
Reverse Transcriptase to generate full length transcripts).
making it the product of choice for the secure protection of all your RNA
samples.

Expand
High Fidelity PCR System
Expand High Fidelity PCR System delivers superior PCR results with a greater
than two-fold higher yield and three-fold greater fidelity than Taq DNA
polymerase. More sensitive than Taq DNA polymerase, Expand High Fidelity
improves PCR results for genomic targets up to 5 kb in length.
Expand
High Fidelity PLUS PCR System
Roche Applied Science, which pioneered the blending of thermostable DNA
Polymerases with the Expand High Fidelity and Expand Long Template PCR
Systems, now introduces the Expand High Fidelity PLUS PCR System - the
first product of a family of next generation PCR Blends. This new blend
combines Taq DNA Polymerase with a novel proofreading protein, isolated
and characterized by Roche Applied Science. This protein mediates proofreading
activity but has no polymerase activity itself. The synergy between the
mechanism of the proofreading protein and the processivity of Taq DNA
Polymerase is the key to Expand HiFiPLUS Enzyme Blends unique ability
to
- Deliver higher yields
- Improve accuracy for high-fidelity applications, and
- Incorporate dUTP to prevent carry-over Contamination
for amplification reactions up to 5 kb.
Expand
Long Template PCR System
Expand Long Template PCR System simplifies long and accurate PCR reactions.
This optimized enzyme blend and three-buffer set enables PCR products from
five to greater than twenty kilobases in length to be produced. Even if
Taq were able to amplify such long fragments, Expand Long Template would
deliver twice the fidelity and much higher yields.
Expand
20 kbPLUS PCR System
Expand 20 kb
PLUS PCR System is a unique enzyme blend containing
Taq and Pwo DNA Polymerase and another
thermostable enzyme. The
system produces extra long PCR products from
genomic DNA (>20
kb fragments from human genomic DNA or up to 47 kb fragments
from
lambda-DNA). The enzyme blend may be used for any application that requires
amplification of very long DNA
sequences.
FastStart
Taq DNA Polymerase
Obtain superior results in routine, multiplex, nested, high-throughput,
or complex genomic PCR up to 3 kb with FastStart Polymerase. This modified
recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase is inactive at temperatures below 75C but
is activated by a 4-minute heat-activation step at 95C. Minimize non-specific
amplification products and amplify even the most problematic templates (GC-rich
sequences, repeats, high secondary structure) with the optimized buffer
system and the revolutionary GC-RICH Resolution Solution.
GC-RICH PCR
System
The GC-Rich PCR System, a blend of Taq DNA polymerase and a proofreading
polymerase, powers through templates that are difficult or impossible to
amplify with other polymerases or additives. The enhanced processivity of
the blend and the unique GC-RICH Resolution Solution combine to deliver
superior performance especially from problematic templates.
High
Fidelity PCR Master
High Fidelity PCR Master contains all necessary reagents (buffers, nucleotides
and enzymes) needed for PCR. The mix contains a unique enzyme blend of Taq
DNA Polymerase and Pwo DNA Polymerase[a thermostable enzyme with a proofreading
(3'5' exonuclease) activity]. High Fidelity PCR Master amplifies with threefold
greater accuracy than Taq DNA Polymerase alone and gives better results
with impure templates because it is less affected by contaminants in a
DNA preparation than other DNA polymerases.
PCR
Core KitPLUS
The PCR Core KitPLUS is a convenient kit with ready-to-use reagents which
has been specially designed for performing PCR with Taq polymerase and carry-over
prevention. The kit contains heat-labile UNG which allows reliable removal
of carry-over contaminants.
PCR-Grade
Deoxynucleotides
Produce sensitive and consistent results with the newly developed PCR
grade deoxy-nucleotides from Roche Applied Science. Improve performance
and sensitivity in PCR and RT-PCR assays, even when analyzing low copy number
targets. New production procedures eliminate dNTPs with modified bases,
and tetra- and pyrophosphate contamination which often inhibit PCR and labeling
reactions. Roche Molecular Biochemcals is the only supplier to function
test each lot of dNTPs for RNase, DNase, and nicking activity.
PCR-Grade
Water
Like all components of a PCR or RT-PCR assay, the water component must
be of a high purity. Standard laboratory water is often contaminated with
DNA, RNA or nucleases. These contaminants often contribute to suboptimal
amplification reactions. This PCR-grade water is specially purified, deionized,
double-distilled, and autoclaved. The unique production process also ensures
that no detectable amounts of nucleic acids are included, as tested with
conventional thermal cyclers and in highly sensitive assays with the LightCycler
Instrument and related LightCycler kits. In addition, this water is guaranteed
to be free of detectable endonucleases, ribonucleases and nicking activity.
PCR
Master
The PCR Master Kit contains 10 vials of ready-to-use PCR reaction
mix including Taq DNA polymerase sufficient for 100 PCR reactions. It amplifies
genomic targets up to 3 kb with good yield and specificity and is capable
of amplifying lambda DNA up to 10 kb.
Taq
DNA Polymerase
Get the most consistent results out of your PCR reactions by using Roche
Applied Science (RASs) Taq DNA Polymerase, which is held to our rigorous
purity and quality standards. Before it arrives in your laboratory, every
lot of Roche Taq DNA polymerase must pass tests for functionality and contaminating
activities. Thus, you can be confident that you will obtain reliable, consistent
results with every lot of RAS Taq DNA Polymerase.
Pwo
DNA Polymerase
initially isolated from the hyperthermophilic archaebacterium Pyrococcus
woesei - combines an efficient 5- 3thermostable polymerase activity with
a highly processive 3- 5exonuclease, or "proofreading" activity. Roche
Applied Science (RASs) recombinant preparation minimizes the incorporation
of incorrect bases and delivers a 18-fold higher accuracy than Taq DNA Polymerase
and is therefore the product of choice when DNA needs to be amplified with
the highest possible accuracy.
Titan One
Tube RT-PCR System/Kit
Using three distinct enzymes, the Titan RT-PCR System offers unmatched
sensitivity and reproducibility in one tube RT-PCR. The Titan system exploits
the superior thermal stability of AMV reverse transcriptase for the cDNA
synthesis step to reduce secondary structure. AMV also provides better processivity
and fuller length transcripts when compared to RNase H negative M-MuLV reverse
transcriptase mutants. For the final PCR step, the Titan system uses the
enhanced fidelity and high yield of the Expand High Fidelity enzyme blend.
Uracil-DNA
Glycosylase
Uracil-DNA glycosylase is used for prevention of carry-over contamination
in PCR. The enzyme modifies all uracil-containing products from previous
PCRs which then can be hydrolyzed by heat under alkaline conditions.
