PCR-Grade Nucleotides,,,Larger Pack Sizes Now Available

Roche Applied Science now offers new larger pack sizes of PCR-Grade Nucleotides. These larger pack sizes combine the best available quality with attractive pricing.

Single dNTPs

Single dNTPs are now available in 500-mol pack sizes. The Deoxynucleoside Triphosphate Set, containing all four dNTPs (dATP, dCTP, dGTP, and dTTP) in separate vials, is now available in a 4 x 125-mol pack size. This larger pack size is sufficient for 6,250 100-l PCRs at a final dNTP concentration of 0.2 mM. The 500-mol pack size of single dNTPs provides 25,000 reactions.

Dideoxynucleoside Triphosphates

In addition, dideoxynucleoside triphosphates (ddNTPs) are now offered in a sequencing-grade form the highest possible quality available. Sequencing-Grade ddNTPs are supplied in a set (ddATP, ddCTP, ddGTP, and ddTTP) as sodium salt solutions at pH 8.3.

High-Quality PCR-Grade Nucleotides

PCR-Grade and Sequencing-Grade Nucleotides from Roche Applied Science are specially manufactured and purified to the highest possible chemical purity. PCRGrade Nucleotides contain at least 99% of the relevant deoxynucleoside triphosphate (dNTP) and less than 0.9% deoxynucleoside diphosphate (dNDP). They are provided as clear, colorless solutions in water at a concentration of 100 mM (pH 8.3). Due to the manufacturing process, PCR-Grade Nucleotides are free of dNTPs with modified bases, as well as tetra- and pyrophosphate contamination. Tetraphosphate can disintegrate and form pyrophosphate, which is a known inhibitor of amplification reactions. Therefore, the nucleotide purity is critical to the success of your amplification reactions. PCR-Grade Nucleotides are stable for 30 months after production when stored at 20 C.

For your convenience, PCR-Grade Nucleotides are available as nucleotide sets (all four nucleotides in separate vials), as single nucleotides, as kits (dNTPs, buffer, and polymerase in separate vials), ready-to-use mixes (premixed solutions of all four nucleotides), and ready-touse mixes that contain polymerase, nucleotides, and buffer (premixed 2x solution).
