PCR Grade Deoxynucleotides

Highly purified deoxynucleotides for optimal results and maximum sensitivity in all PCR and RT-PCR applications
Unsurpassed purity and performance with PCR Grade Nucleotides!
Produce sensitive and consistent results with the newly developed PCR grade deoxy-nucleotides from RAS. Improve performance and sensitivity in PCR and RT-PCR assays, even when analyzing low copy number targets. Significantly enhance your PCR without additional cost! Use PCR grade dNTPs in daily applications, including PCR, RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, sequencing, DNA labeling, and mutagenesis reactions. Our new manufacturing processes ensure higher quality without increasing production costs. Therefore, you obtain enhanced results without increasing your experimental costs. Experimental results Improve yield and performance Purified to the highest possible purity (> 99% dNTP, < 0,9% dNDP), PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides offer a secure starting point for a successful amplification reaction. Resulting from the new manufacturing process, PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides are virtually free of dNTPs with modified bases, tetra- and pyrophosphate contamination that often inhibit amplification reactions (Figure 1). Figure 1: Comparison of HPLC chromatograms between RASs PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides and supplier As deoxynucleotides Roche Applied Science Supplier A Increase sensitivity Assuring the highest possible functionality, PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides are function-tested in a RT-PCR assay, th e most sensitive and demanding amplification assay. Secured by this QC procedure, PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides enable the detection of very rare messages (Figure 2). Figure 2: Comparison of sensitivity between RAS's PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides and supplier A's deoxynucleotides Panel A shows that Roches PCR grade nucleotides produced an RT-PCR product from just 10 pg of human skeletal muscle total RNA (upper panel). It took at least 100 pg of RNA to produce similar results using Supplier As nucleotides (lower panel). Each lot of PCR grade nucleotides is assayed for function in an RT-PCR amplification of a 1849 bp fragment of the human dystrophin gene. Varying amounts (5000, 1000, 500, 250, 100, 50, and 10 pg) of human skeletal muscle total RNA are incubated with 1 ml Titan RT-PCR System enzyme mix. After reverse transcription and 35 cycles of PCR, the reaction is analyzed on a 1.0% agarose gel. To pass the quality control test, a PCR product must be produced from < 100 pg of total RNA. Save money PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides are supplied as sodium salts in highly purified water at pH 8.3 without the addition of additives or stabilizers. Since most amplification reactions are performed between pH 8 and pH 9, PCR-Grade Deoxynucleotides are compared to deoxynucleotides stored at pH 7 or 7,5 more resistant to chemical stress caused by pH shifts (Figure 3). Additionally, this optimized buffer system guarantees stability for 24 months when stored at 20 C. Figure 3: Stability comparison of deoxynucleotide solutions at varying p H 100 mmol/l Na+ solutions were stressed and the purity checked by HPLC. Storage at pH 8.3 significantly improves stability compared to storage at pH 7.5.
