Milwaukee regional development group agrees on name

Representatives from seven counties in southeast Wisconsin have agreed to use the name "Milwaukee 7" as a collective brand for economic development in the area.

The Milwaukee Regional Economic Development Council decided on the name, and an accompanying logo, at its first meeting this week. The organization is three months old.
