Former NSF director to speak at UW-Madison

Madison, Wis. -- Rita Colwell, former director of the National Science Foundation (NSF), will speak on "Water Pollution and Human Health" at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, in a free public lecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Memorial Union.

Colwell headed the NSF from 1998-2004. She now chairs Canon US Life Sciences, Inc., and is a distinguished professor at the University ......
