DeForest biodiesel plant begins production

DeForest, Wis. - Wisconsin's first large-scale biodiesel plant has officially opened with a capacity to produce 20 million gallons per year.

Sanimax Energy will operate the plant and produce 60,000 gallons of biodiesel per day from a variety of different raw materials, including beef tallow. The plant, which is served by road and rail transporta......
