Bone Care bought for $600 million; Wisconsin Angel Network launches

Bone Care, a UW-Madison spinoff that develops a drug for kidney-disease patients, is being acquired for $600 million. The buyer? Massachusetts-based Genzyme, a multi-billion-dollar biotech. Also: the Wisconsin Angel Network gives entrepreneurs and angel investors a new way to find each other, and UW-Madison reviews desktop search engines.
