Ambion's Array Services offers much more than what a typical core laboratory can. It is a complete service microarray information group, which aims to maximize the quantity and quality of information that can be obtained from a microarray experiment. Target aRNA Preparation
Ambion can prepare aRNA samples starting from both eukaryotic and prokaryotic RNA by using the best linear RNA amplification product on the market: MessageAmp II aRNA Amplification Kit.
Ambion Services uses the MessageAmp II Kit, which allows reproducible amplification from small total RNA samples:
>500 ngone round of amplification
<500 ngtwo rounds of amplification
All amplified samples are then inspected on an Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer to confirm quality (i.e. size and yield).
