Ambion now offers a complete Gene Expression Profiling Service* for Affymetrix GeneChip Arrays. From basic data analysis to our Full Service offering, no project is too large or too small. The Full Service offering includes consultation with Ambion's team of experienced array and informatics scientists and comprehensive data analysis. Ambion's long history of providing innovative, high quality products and services for use in gene expression profiling insures the highest level of quality.

Two services have been designed to provide high quality, highly reproducible microarray data.

Experimental Design (Full Service)

Ambion's Array Services offers much more than what a typical core laboratory can. It is a complete service microarray information group, which aims to maximize the quantity and quality of information that can be obtained from a microarray experiment. The Array Services' staff of experienced biologists, statisticians, and bioinformatics specialists will work with you to organize the most effective and economical approach to accomplish your experimental goals by:

Setting up an experimental design that includes biological and analytical perspectives

Replication for efficient analysis

Selection of controls
Cost efficacy: fewest arrays for the most information

Recommending statistical analyses to meet your goals

Target aRNA Preparation

Ambion can prepare aRNA samples starting from both eukaryotic and prokaryotic RNA by using the best linear RNA amplification product on the market: MessageAmp II aRNA Amplification Kit.

Ambion Services uses the MessageAmp II Kit, which allows reproducible amplification from small total RNA samples:

>500 ngone round of amplification

<500 ngtwo rounds of amplification

All amplified samples are then inspected on an Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer to confirm quality (i.e. size and yield).
