BEIJING, Sept. 19 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Latest agricultural news from tootoo.com says that more and more farmers in China are welcoming the new booming trends of Organic Farming (http://www.agriculture-supplier.com/).

Organic farming and organic foods have become popular concepts over these last few years. Now, with domestic and overseas demands for organic food, organic farming has become a booming sub industry ( http://www.agriculture- supplier.com/products/). People in China are keeping apace with their overseas counterparts, moving away from unhealthy foods and highlighting their concerns over potentially contaminated produce.

According to the Agriculture Ministry of China, in 2007, the domestic consumption value of organic food rose to 38 billion US dollars, while the export value was over 3 billion US dollars. Chinese farmers produced 20,000 kinds of organic food, or around 1440 million tons, with 72 million tons of food with the label of Green Foods ( http://www.agriculture- supplier.com/buying_leads/ ) and some 20 million tons of food given the Organic Food (http://www.agriculture-supplier.com/quality_products/) Certification.

Organic food trade has given a tremendous cake to global traders, although Chinese farmers developed a catalog of only 200 hundred healthy, organic foods, Chinese organic food imports continue to be promising.

Asian countries are setting themselves up as hub for organic food exports. China, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan are all playing important roles in improving the world's organic food trade and its
