Martek to Present at Two Upcoming Investor Conferences

COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Martek Biosciences Corporation (Nasdaq: MATK) announced today that it will be participating in two upcoming investor conferences. On Monday, September 21, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. EDT, Peter Buzy, Chief Financial Officer, will be presenting at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference in New York, NY. The conference is being held September 21-23, 2009 at the Grand Hyatt hotel.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. EDT, Steve Dubin, Chief Executive Officer, and Peter Buzy, Chief Financial Officer, will be presenting at the Canaccord Adams Healthy Living Conference in Boston, MA.
