Internationally Recognized Bioenergy Experts Convene in Sacramento

Treadlite Group, an "eco-conscience" marketing and conference planning company in Salida, Colo. is organizing the event, which has gained support from a number of companies and organizations including NEAtech, LLC; TSS Consultants; the University of California, Davis, Energy Institute; the California Biomass Collaborative; the Sacramento Municipal Utility District; and the California Institute of Food and Agricultural Research.

"With the help of our supporting companies and organizations, we have confirmed some of the most innovative bioenergy experts to speak at this cutting-edge conference," Dave Blazer, CEO of Treadlite Group said. "This includes representatives from industry, government and academia - providing participants a broad range of perspectives and a rich environment to learn, network and develop new business."

The three-day event will start with an industry tour followed by two days of educational sessions and multiple networking opportunities. Topics will include national and California policies, renewable hydrocarbons, electrical generation from woody biomass, MSW-to-energy, alcohol fuels, advances in anaerobic digestion, dedicated energy crops, aviation fuels, biomass as a commodity, integrated biorefining, small-scale bio-power, algae biomass production and project development.
