First Choice Rehabilitation Specialists Joins Select Medical

MECHANICSBURG, Pa., Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Select Medical announced it has become the majority owner of First Choice Rehabilitation Specialists, a well-known provider of physical therapy in the greater Harrisburg area. First Choice's 13 clinics join the Select Medical family with a 25-year reputation for providing high-quality rehabilitation in outpatient settings.

Together, First Choice and another Select Medical brand known as Select Physical Therapy will offer physical therapy and related services at 18 convenient locations in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, Lebanon, Upper Dauphin County and Perry County.  

"Patients and referral sources alike will benefit from this new partnership between two trusted names in physical therapy," said Michael Collins, P.T, ATC, MBA, a regional director for Select Medical's outpatient division.
