MEDFORD, Mass. and HEIDELBERG, Germany, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- febit holding gmbh today announced the appointment of Michelle Lyles, Ph.D., to the newly created position of vice president, marketing and sales. She will be based in febit inc.'s U.S. headquarters, which is located near Boston in Medford, Mass.

Lyles will manage the US marketing and sales initiatives for febit's genomics technology products and services. These initiatives will include the company's launch of the Geniom(R) RT Analyzer, a fully automated instrument for the hybridization, washing, staining and scanning of microarrays, in the second quarter of this year.

"This is an exciting phase for febit, with the upcoming launch of the Geniom RT Analyzer," said Cord. F. Staehler, president and CEO of febit.
