eCareSoft Releases eCS Cirrus™
Date:2/16/2012

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- eCareSoft, Inc. announced today the release of eCS Cirrus™ v.2, an end-to-end healthcare information system using the company's managed private cloud environment. Cirrus offers an economical, tightly integrated hospital information system (HIS), a clinical information system (CIS) and ONC-TABC Certified Complete Inpatient & Ambulatory (eCS Nimbo™) EHRs. This contemporary alternative to traditional hospital systems addresses the demands of today's complex healthcare environment requiring heightened data security, mobile access and electronic collaboration among caregivers.

"It's hard to imagine a hospital today that isn't considering cloud technology for affordability and mobility," stated Jorge Camargo, CEO.  "Cirrus is certainly affordable, but when it comes to true value in a mobile world, security is just as important," added Camargo. Cirrus uses security levels and encryption processes that exceed government guidelines for electronic patient health data (HIPAA & HITECH), making it easy and affordable for hospitals with limited IT resources to meet their regulatory obligations. "Administrators and their IT staff can rest assured that the integrity and security of their electronic patient data is consistent across all facilities and is always given top priority," concluded Camargo.

Cirrus uses an interface that is incredibly intuitive and ICD-10 ready.  Patient data can be aggregated and shared across multiple departments and/or facilities, providing administrators with important insights into core business processes that can improve the quality of patient care, cost efficiencies and regulatory management.
