New courses and online videos / training

Due to large demand, Ziehm Imaging has extended its course availability in the USA. In the future there will also be additional training in the areas of vascular imaging, 3D imaging, surgery, pain treatment, as well as detailed and background knowledge about mobile C-arms in general. In order to better meet the needs of the user, Ziehm Imaging has furthermore set up a special website. At http://www.ziehmacademy-us.com doctors and clients can find short educational videos and helpful tips about the use of the mobile C-arm in a clinical environment. In addition to this, users will be kept up to date with the latest technological developments by newsletter.

From October onwards, clinical user trainings will be available in Germany in modular form for beginners and advanced participants. Furthermore, additional educational facilities will be on the training schedule for distributors as well as medical technicians from reference clinics, to which all participants will be able to register online next year.

Moreover, as part of the Academy, Ziehm Imaging cooperates closely with clinical partners and scientific organizations in the USA. In special on-site courses, the so-called Mobile Learning Labs, doctors and clinic personnel receive intensive training in the practical implementation of mobile C-arms. The first Mobile Learning Lab took place at the end of 2007 in Texas in cooperation with the East Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists. Since then, the 589 participants of the Learning Labs have been educated at different facilities. By the end of the year five more Mobile Learning Labs are planned in the USA (Orlando FL; San Antonio TX; Houston TX; Denver CO and Long Beach CA). In Germany, Ziehm Imaging is in partnership with the Center for Applied Radiological Research at the University Hos
