Z Trim to Present at the 2013 Clean Label Conference
Date:10/24/2013

MUNDELEIN, Ill., Oct. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Trim Holdings, Inc. (OTC Markets: ZTHO – News), a biotechnology company providing value-added ingredients to a variety of industries, will be featured at Global Food Forum, Inc.'s 2013 Clean Label Conference from October 29-30 at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois. Many of the ingredient manufacturing industry's leading research and development, marketing, and brand management experts attend the Clean Label Conference each year to network with peers and share the latest innovations in producing consumer-friendly packaged foods and beverages.

Lynda Carroll, Z Trim's VP of Sales and Applications, will address over 200 food scientists, research chefs and other product developers on how Z Trim Ingredients' unique moisture-management capability can replace fats, gums and starches, both individually and in systems, to create healthier foods and allow for cleaner labels.  "Z Trim Ingredients can help meet the growing consumer demand for natural, non-GMO, additive-free foods," said Ms. Carroll.  "Z Trim's Sales group is currently showing manufactures how to reformulate using Z Trim Corn Fiber in place of traditional ingredients that are increasingly considered unacceptable to growing retail markets like Whole Foods® and Trader Joe's®."

According to Global Food Forums, Inc., "The 2013 Clean Label Conference is the only in-person event offering critical data, insights and hands-on technical advice focusing on consumer attitudes, product trends, regulatory considerations and the use of emerging and multi-functional natural ingredient systems. Such ingredients range from colorings to preservatives, texturizers to flavorings and components that enhance nutritional profiles, among others.

Attendees will take away actionable information to guide their company's formulation, production and marketing of simple yet sophisticated clean label products."
