China's large population means that its arable farmland must feed an average of 10 people per hectare compared to a worldwide average of 4.4 people per hectare. China's farmland is currently being used at close to capacity levels just to meet domestic demand. A combination of limited arable land and a large and growing population has created a significant need to increase output per hectare in China," commented Crocker Coulson, President of CCG Investor Relations.
