WuXi PharmaTech (NYSE: WX) Holds Its Third Life Science and Chemistry Awards Ceremony in Beijing

SHANGHAI, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- WuXi PharmaTech (NYSE: WX), a leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-device research and development outsourcing company with operations in China and the United States, today announced the winners of its third Life Science and Chemistry Awards, held on December 20, 2009, at the China World Hotel in Beijing.

The theme of this year's awards was Biology in Drug Discovery. The selection panel was comprised of ten scholars with extensive industry expertise:

       Chairman of the Jiusan Society, President of the Chinese Society for
       Science and Technology, Dean of the Medical School of Peking
