WellnessFX Launches New Products e-HealthAnswers and Women's Fertility Package
Date:8/19/2013

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- WellnessFX, Inc., provider of a leading cloud-based health and wellness destination, recently announced two exciting additions to its product suite.

e-HealthAnswers Feature Offers Fast, Personalized Health Solutions — at No-Cost Initially
WellnessFX has launched a new feature called eHealthAnswers in response to increasing market demand for low-friction, low-cost access to its leading-edge network of health practitioners. WellnessFX is offering this feature at no cost for a limited time, beginning in California.

This stand-alone feature allows consumers to choose from a list of WellnessFX practitioners according to specific health concerns or lifestyle preferences. The feature is intended to provide convenient, professional advice for nonurgent medical and nutritional issues and is available to new customers only. All questions will receive an in-depth answer — often in less time than it takes to see a doctor or even schedule appointment.

All participating practitioners are licensed and board certified with years of hands-on clinical experience. Each practitioner is hand-selected, screened, and periodically reviewed and scored through patient feedback to enhance the customer experience.

"Every physician, nutritionist and RD in our network has extensive experience using highly relevant diagnostic and lifestyle measures to inform patients and patient-driven wellness programs," says Drina Boban, WellnessFX's director, Practitioner Network. "Our practitioners also have working knowledge of nutrition, supplement and lifestyle interventions to address health issues and concerns."

Competitive online alternative options require consumers to forfeit on price, scope of answer, or expertise of provider. WellnessFX's eHealthAnswers is the only option that provides consumers with real, no-cost, in-depth health answers from a U.S.-based practitioner without an appointment.

Once more market data has been collected in California, the company plans to roll out the feature nationwide where permitted. Learn more: http://www.wellnessfx.com/e-healthanswers.

Women's Fertility Package for Affordable Insights
Another important and first-of-its-kind addition to the WellnessFX product suite is the Women's Fertility package, designed to gauge women's hormones and nutritional biometrics for optimal fertility. Comparable tests are difficult to obtain through basic health insurance and Ob-Gyn offices, and can by quite costly when ordered through specialty fertility clinics. At $289, WellnessFX's new offering is a comprehensive way for women to test their fertility biometrics at an affordable price, without the need to schedule a doctor's appointment or obtain a referral.

"Many Ob-Gyns will not even recommend certain blood tests because of prohibitive costs," says Dr. Lana Asprey, physician and advisor to WellnessFX. "WellnessFX allows women the affordable option of taking their fertility into their own hands."

Murdoc Khaleghi, WellnessFX's medical director, says that a woman's reproductive health isn't just important when she's trying to get pregnant. "There are many nutrient and hormone levels that can indicate poor reproductive health in women long before or after they plan to conceive," says Khalegi, the author of Healthiest You Ever. "This is especially true for folic acid, which has been shown to increase risk of birth defects for women deficient in this critical nutrient.''
