The company expects to begin being profitable on a GAAP basis in the fourth quarter. Excluding stock-based compensation expense of approximately $10.0 million, due diligence costs and in-process research and development, Volcano expects to report non-GAAP net income of $0.16-$0.20 per diluted share. This compares with prior guidance for net income on this basis of $0.16-$0.18 per diluted share. Weighted average shares outstanding in 2008 are expected to be approximately 47.7 million basic shares and 50.4 million shares on a diluted basis.
