Over the previous 11 years, he served in executive and senior leadership positions at Positron Corporation, a pioneer in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging technologies, and Fonar Corporation, an innovator and supplier of magnetic resonance imaging devices and services. Mr. Baker began his career in sales at leading health care companies including Space Labs, CR Bard and Abbott Labs.

"We are pleased to have someone with Howard's extensive background and proven track record take over the helm at VivoMetrics," commented John Erb, chairman of the VivoMetrics board of directors. Mr. Erb continued by saying, "Howard's leadership experience, along with demonstrated successes in developing and expanding market opportunities for technology, products and services, make him well-qualified to lead VivoMetrics towards its anticipated accelerated growth."

"VivoMetrics stands poised to take advantage of market development opportunities that have been cultivated over the past eight years, and I'm very excited to join the company at this time," said Mr. Baker. "VivoMetrics has developed technology and led the charge in changing how scientific research, clinical study and fitness assessment are conducted. I think the potential for our future success is unlimited."
