Visiprise Manufacturing Wins START-IT Top 50 Technologies Award
Date:12/4/2007

ATLANTA, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Visiprise, Inc., a leader in integrated manufacturing operations solutions, announced today that Visiprise Manufacturing was named one of the 2007 top technologies by START-IT.

The list, compiled by the editors of START-IT magazine, recognizes highly- functional products that provide unique solutions to the manufacturing space. Visiprise Manufacturing was one of 50 products selected from several hundred applicants.

"Visiprise is committed to providing industry-leading solutions for discrete manufacturers," said Mike Lackey, vice president of industry business units from Visiprise. "This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team and its commitment to providing superior solutions and service to our customers."

Visiprise Manufacturing is a manufacturing execution system (MES) for discrete manufacturers. The solution captures, shares, and stores manufacturing data while integrating with ERP, PLM and other business systems to provide complete visibility across the manufacturing enterprise.

"The products selected as winners in the first Top 50 Technologies possess unique capabilities and characteristics in today's marketplace. While considering hundreds of applicants, the editors of START-IT chose products that fit the needs of the manufacturing community," said Peggy Smedley, editorial director of START-IT. "These companies are providing manufacturers with innovative and emerging technologies that enhance revenue opportunities and improve business practices."

This announcement comes on the heels of Visiprise's announcement of Visiprise Manufacturing 5.0; a further expansion of the Visiprise Manufacturing solution that marks the first time a single manufacturing execution system environment is able to support multi-mode manufacturing operation for discrete manufacturers.
