VirtualScopics Schedules Fourth Quarter 2008 Earnings Announcement

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VirtualScopics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VSCP), a leading provider of quantitative imaging for clinical trials, today announced that on February 25, 2009 it will release its 2008 fourth quarter and full year financial results for the period ended December 31, 2008. The company will host a conference call to discuss these results on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. EST.

VirtualScopics' President and Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Markin, and Chief Business and Financial Officer, Molly Henderson, will provide a business update, discuss the company's results for the fourth quarter and full year 2008, and provide an outlook for 2009 during the conference call.
