Westford, Massachusetts (PRWEB) April 25, 2013

Vertilon Corporation (http://www.vertilon.com), a leader in high performance charge integrating and photon counting data acquisition systems for photomultiplier tubes and silicon photomultipliers, announced today that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Crisel Instruments of Rome, Italy. The exclusive agreement entitles Crisel Instruments (http://www.crisel-instruments.it/) to market and sell Vertilon’s products throughout the country of Italy. Vertilon’s portfolio includes instruments specifically designed to acquire signals from multichannel optical devices. The company’s products are used in diverse applications that include PET, SPECT, flow cytometry, fluorescence detection, confocal microscopy, LIDAR, and high energy particle physics. These products, together with Crisel’s significant expertise in providing equipment and services to the biological and physical sciences markets will allow Crisel to offer a more complete solution to its customers. “For nearly two decades Crisel has been a leader in the Italian electro-optics market,” said Vincent Palermo, President of Vertilon. “Their considerable experience and access to a sizeable customer base makes them well positioned to represent and distribute our products throughout Italy.” The President of Crisel Instruments, Giancarlo Penco added, “we expect a successful cooperative agreement between our companies.” He continued, “in fact, the products that Crisel is selling throughout the Italian market are very complementary to Vertilon’s product portfolio.” The agreement between the two companies is effective immediately.
