Date:11/12/2008

ted the Crystalens HD, as we expected she not only had much better distance vision but also reported improved near vision. Tatiana was very happy with the result because she now enjoys a broad range of distance, intermediate and near vision. Like other Crystalens patients, she is enjoying improved functional vision and a better quality of life," added Dr. Singer.

Dr. Singer also was featured at two separate lectures during the Conference where he discussed topics of importance to his fellow surgeons such as Crystalens surgical technique, prevention of complications, and the important role clinic staff plays in presenting this new technology to prospective patients.

"The European surgeons have a high level of interest in the Crystalens HD. Their ability to watch a surgery and speak directly with Dr. Singer about his experiences as a surgeon and the satisfaction of his patients will help advance the adoption of the accommodating intraocular lens around the world," said Amy Jacobs, Global Director of Marketing for Bausch & Lomb.

Dr. Singer shared his experiences with a number of surgeons who attended the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia this week.
