PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Varian, Inc. (NasdaqGS: VARI) has announced that it will host a unique online event involving the breadth and depth of its solutions for analytical and research applications as an alternative to participating as a booth exhibitor at Pittcon(R)2009.

Varian recognizes the growing trend toward gathering information online. And while the current economy may lead even fewer people to travel significant distances to attend trade shows, individuals and institutions still need solutions for their analytical challenges.
